What about 4 - 5 Star Hotels?
Even though we strictly suggest to experience staying in a cave hotel in Cappadocia which will make your vacation unforgettable, sometimes you may want to stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. Cave hotels are carved into fairy chimneys (volcanic rocks) and because of their formation they can't have more than 15-20 rooms. Beside that, these rooms are all unique and have different shapes. So if you are planning to come with a big group, you may have to stay in 4 - 5 star hotels. Apart from that, we suggest to stay in a cave hotel.

SULTAN CAVE SUITES HOTEL- FREE AIRPORT TRANSFER

KELEBEK BOUTIQUE HOTEL- Author's Choice in Lonely Planet

Kelebek Boutique Hotel offers Spacious cave bedrooms with hand-carved furnishings and locally-made fabrics, marble-walled bathrooms with their own hamam basins, power-showers and bathtubs, and a lovely flower-filled garden with fairy chimneys behind it and the Pigeon Valley opening out in front of it. KELEBEK PENSION - Author's Choice in Lonely Planet

Kelebek Pension has a wonderful location, right in the heart of Goreme's historic old village, with spectacular views looking out towards Uchisar and Cavusin. Until 1993 Kelebek was a local family house, and like most homes in Goreme, it was made of a mixture of cave rooms and stone-arched rooms which had been added later. But the history of the site stretches right back to prehistory, to the days when the eruption of Mt Erciyes and then the effects of wind and rain on the tuff created our two fairy chimneys.

In medieval times the rooms in the top of these two chimneys served as simple chapels for local hermits; one of them even has a frescoed cross on the ceiling. Later my family used them to raise pigeons, store grapes, even to house a small library.

TASKONAK HOTEL

Taskonak is the fourth hotel of Turkish Heritage Travel opened in 2005 and has very spacious junior suites carved into cave. This architectural formation keeps the rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter. The hotel also has a family suite whit separated children room and parents bathroom with Jacuzzi. The rates of Taskonak are 35 Euro for regular rooms and 65 Euro for Junior Suites for 2 people including breakfast. Family Suite is 90 Euro for 2 adults and 2 children.

Taskonak is located on Aydinli Hill of Goreme and has a charming view of whole town.

GOREME SUITES

For our guests who want to stay in a special, small but not cave hotel, we suggest Goreme Suites. Goreme Suites has just 4 suites like Sultan Cave Suites and has a great view of Uzundere (Long Brook) Valley.

The family suite of Goreme Suites has it's own kitchen and 120 Euro per night. It can accommodate up to 4 adults. Other suites are 90 Euro per night for 2 people including breakfast.

Anatolian Houses is a top class hotel opened in 2006. The hotel is listed in many magazines and websites for luxury travelers. AYDINLI CAVE HOUSE

Aydinli Cave House is opened in May 2008 and it is currently the newest cave hotel of Cappadocia with only 6 rooms. All the rooms are carved into cave. It is in the same neighbourhood with Kelebek, Taskonak and Sultan Cave Suites Hotels and just 2 minutes walk from Turkish Heritage Travel office.

Junior Suites are 65 Euro while suites are 90 Euro per night for 2 people including breakfasts.

MEL'S HOUSE (Rental Cave Property)

Mel's House is a perfect solution for familys or friends who want to rent a cave house and have the flexibility to live like at home. You can rent 1,2 or 3 rooms of the house for a couple of days or weeks. The house is built with the standards of a boutique hotel and has its own kitchen. You will also have house keeping service during your stay.
