CAPPADOCIA RAFTING TOURS

At times you drift slowly down the river, taking in the impressive cliffs of the canyons and hearing the stillness of a world untouched by mankind, meandering through traditional villages, or jumping into the cool refreshing water for a swim alongside the boat. At other times, you get the chance to fill your body with adrenaline, and taste the rage of the thundering river, dipping and turning in the white frothing water that seems to be all around you. A perfect combination - whitewater rafting!

The Zamanti river is flowing from Cappadocia plateau, pass the Kapuzbasi waterfalls and crossing the Taurus mountains towards the Mediterranean. On the other hand, the biggest river of Turkey Kizilirmak (Red River), divides Cappadocia into two by making a line between Avanos and Gulsehir towns. This area is our playground.

DAILY RAFTING TOUR IN ZAMANTI RIVER

This one is one day adventure down the Zamanti`s deepest canyons. Visiting powerful waterfalls, mysterious caves and rafting along green villages in which the time seems to have stopped. Come to breathe in the nature and spend a magical day with us to get the real sense of the "Zamanti Spirit".

Trip Itinerary
We start our day with a morning pick up from the hotels in Goreme, Urgup and other towns of Cappadocia and a drive to the town of Yahyali. Arriving at our river base to change into our river clothes and have a small chat about the correct river behavior than off we go right into it.

We will spend the net hours rafting through the dramatic blue canyon. The walls are huge and at some places they go vertically over a 1000 meters! The rapids are exciting, the air is fresh and the scenery is breathtaking. We will take our time through the fantastic gorge with breaks for body rafting, side tours, games and a light meal on the way. After some 3 hours we arrive at take to enjoy an open buffet lunch on the riverbank. If time allows and the crew is up to it, we will go to visit the world famous Kapuzbasi waterfall and take loads of photos of all different angles.

With the sound of water still in our ears we will depart for the drive back to Cappadocia through Taurus Mountains.

This tour starts around 08:00 from Cappadocia and ends around 18:00. The rate is 75 Euro per person including gear, transportation, a basic education about rafting, picnic and lunch.
