History & Adventure Tour (Daily Cappadocia Tour 1)

When we start heading to our lunch we will stop in Uchisar to taste both red and white Cappadocian Wine. After our lunch in Avanos, we will see one of the oldest arts in the world, pottery. The masters of the workshop will demonstrate the 4000 years old Hittite kick-wheel technique. Then, we will drive to Pasabag (monks valley) where we will see mushroom shaped fairy chimneys and St. Simon church.
Our next stops will be Devrent Valley with animal shaped fairy chimneys and "family fairy chimneys" in Urgup. The last part of the tour will be our adventerous hike in Rose Valley where we will slide with rope, walk through cave tunnels, visit an old cave house and climb to a cave chapel. We will finish the 3 kilometers hike around 18:00 and drive you back to hotel.
History & Adventure Tour starts 09:30 and finish around 18:00. The rate is 60 YTL per person including professional guide, entrance fees, lunch and A/C transportation. We need at least 4 people to arrange a regular tour and usually go with 6 to 8 people. The number of the people in the tour is limited to 16.

PRIVATE CAPPADOCIA TOURS
Turkish Heritage Travel also organizes private Cappadocia Tours. These tours are tailor-made with our guest's preferences. Full day private tours are 80 Euro per person including VIP transportation with Mercedes vehicles, professional guide, entrance fees, lunch and drinks.

Goreme Open Air Museum
The open air museum of Goreme is listed in UNESCO World Heritage List, and it has cave churches decorated with frescoes. Dark Church, Sandal Church, Tokali Church and Church with the apple have the best preserved frescoes of Cappadocia region. Visit of Goreme Open Air Museum takes around 2 hours.
Zelve Open Air Museum
Zelve is an old town which collapsed in 1950s. Government moved the town to modern houses and started to protect the ruins as open air museum. The museum has cave churches, an old mosque, lots of cave houses, a mill and the longest cave tunnel of Cappadocia. Walking in the valleys of Zelve, gives a feeling of walking on moon.
Mustafapasa (Sinasos) Village and Churches
Mustafapasa was one of the richest Greek towns of Anatolia until the 1924 populiation exchange which forced the Greeks living in Turkey to move Greece and Turks in Greece to move to Turkey. In this town, you can see the Mediterranian architecture with the piece-of-art doors and wall paintings. Sinasos also has two of youngest churches in Cappadocia: Konstantine Eleni and Aiyos Vasilios.
Sobesos Excavation
Sobesos Antique city is found just 5 years ago and the city is still being excavated by archelogs every summer. So far, they found a perfect preserved Roman Bath from 4th century and a temple from 7th century which has mosaic tiles on the ground.
Soganli (Soandos) Valley with cave churches
Soganli has two valleys hiding cave churches and pigeon houses. For the ones who like an easy, flat hike with the chance of seeing cave churches it is a perfect choise. The famous Cappadocia Dolls are also hand-made in Soganli.
Gulsehir
Gulsehir, is one of the first settlements of early christians and it is located next to Kizilirmak, the longest river of Turkey. You can visit Open Palace, which has the first cave churches with primitive wall paintings and one of the first textile weaving looms of the world. St. Jean Church with her restored frescoes is also located in Gulsehir.
Hacibektas
Hacibektas is the center of Bektasi sect of Islam. You can see the Museum of Haci Bektas-i Veli, a great poet and philosopher like Rumi, and legendery 5 stones ruins here. For people who are interested in sufism and Islam, this is the most interesting place of Cappadocia.
