Our travel agency is established in 2004 by 4 partners who have many years experiance in tourism business.

We believe the travel business is a matter of sense directly related to instant urge of understanding and professionalism. As tourism professionals we are aware of the needs of travelers and our prior aim is to provide our clients a good quality service. The partners are:

Ali YAVUZ (ali@kelebekhotel.com)
Ali Yavuz, founder partner of Turkish Heritage Travel and owner of Kelebek Hotels, is a native of Goreme, the village heart of the tourist area of Cappodocia. In addition, to building and running hotels, through his love and extensive knowledge of Turkish culture and traditions and his history of personalized service to guests, he received numerous requests to provide tours of Turkey with the same excellent quality that he provided hospitality to his hotel guests. Thus, he founded Turkish Heritage Travel that specializes in customized travel experiences and providing experiential exposure to small groups of travelers interested in an authentic Turkish cultural experience. Mr. Yavuz is a leader in his community and in the tourism industry in Turkey and has the experience, connections and relationships throughout the company to make a trip to Turkey with Heritage Travel a unique, personalized and unforgettable experience. His entire staff is dedicated to serving the guests needs and providing outstanding service.

Ms. Serap Aga (serap@goreme.com)
Serap, a founding partner of Turkish Heritage Travel, is originally from Malatya. She attended a 4 year national guiding program at the University in Nevsehir. (Cappadocia). She has been guiding for 8 years throughout Turkey, but specializes in her favorite place Cappadocia, where she has lived for six years. Raised in a traditional area of Turkey, Serap, is a modern Turkish young woman, balancing her love of guiding with being a wife and mother. She applies the same high standards and excellence and customer service to both vocations.

Another founding partner of Turkish Heritage Travel and owner of Sultan Carpets and Sultan Cave Suites Hotel, Mehmet is also from Goreme, heart of Cappadocia. He has been in tourism since he was a kid and has a difficult to reach reputation for his carpet shop. His shop has been meeting point of backpackers for many years and listed in many guide books. Nowadays, he spends most of his time with the famous horses of Cappadocia.

Mustafa Kursad TURGUT (mustafa@goreme.com)
Mr. Turgut, a founding partner in Turkish Heritage Travel, is a licensed national tour guide throughout Turkey. His excellent English language skills, sincerity in meeting all guests special interests and historical knowledge of all areas of Turkey, provides the basis of his popularity as a tour guide and travel planning professional. In addition, Mr. Turgut is a licensed pilot in Hot Air Ballooning (licensed in Albuquerque, New Mexico) and is constantly furthering his in-depth knowledge with specialties in leading tours in Turkish cuisine, music, carpet-making and wedding traditions. He is also the webmaster of all Turkish Heritage Travel websites.
